Terms of Use
Last updated: May 21, 2026
By creating a PingArmor account, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
You declare you are 18 or older and have full legal capacity when accepting these Terms.
1. Definitions
- PingArmor: connection protection software for online games, a brand operated by Rafael Soarde Matias, a Brazilian individual domiciled in Araraquara/SP, Brazil, with a Data Protection Officer (DPO) channel at [email protected].
- Service: the encrypted WireGuard tunnel, the automatic failover between network interfaces and the optimized routing provided by PingArmor.
- User: individual who creates an account and uses the Service.
2. Purpose
PingArmor provides an encrypted tunnel between the User's computer and a relay server, aiming to protect and stabilize the connection during online gaming sessions. The Service operates exclusively at the network layer (IP routing) and does not modify, intercept or alter game data.
3. Eligibility
The User declares to be at least 18 years old or to have authorization from their legal guardian to use the Service.
4. Account and Security
- Each account is personal and non-transferable.
- The User is responsible for keeping their credentials (username and password) confidential.
- PingArmor uses hardware identification (HWID) to tie the account to a single device and prevent multi-trial abuse. The HWID consists of independent SHA-256 hashes derived from stable computer identifiers, processed in separate namespaces — the original identifiers never leave the PC and the server stores only the hashes (the exact recipe is kept private to reduce the risk of antifraud bypass). Retention: 90 days for trial HWID after last use; 2 years for active-account HWID after last login. A device change can be requested from support. Additional detail on purpose, legal basis (legitimate interest — art. 7 IX LGPD) and data subject rights is provided in the Privacy Policy.
- Accounts with suspicious activity (sharing, fraud or abuse) may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
5. Trial Period
New users receive 3 (three) days of free trial. The trial period is limited to one per device (HWID). Attempts to create multiple trial accounts on the same device will result in automatic license revocation.
6. Payment
- The Service is offered in 30-day packages, with a single payment via Stripe.
- Prices may be adjusted at any time, with no retroactive effect on packages already purchased.
- Payment is not recurring — each renewal requires a new manual purchase.
7. Refund Policy
Refunds may be requested within 7 (seven) days of purchase, provided that:
- The request is made via email ([email protected]).
- There is no evidence of abusive use during the period.
After 7 days from purchase, no refund will be granted.
8. Limitations and Warranty Disclaimer
- PingArmor does not guarantee uninterrupted connection, zero latency or absence of disconnections. Performance depends on the User's network infrastructure, the internet provider and the game server.
- The Service is provided "as is", without express or implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
- PingArmor is not liable for losses in games, virtual items, rankings or any damages arising from connection instability.
9. Acceptable Use
The User agrees to use the Service exclusively for connection protection in online games. The following is expressly prohibited:
- Using the Service for illegal activities, including DDoS attacks, system intrusion or fraud.
- Reselling, sublicensing or redistributing access to the Service to third parties.
- Reverse-engineering the software.
10. Privacy and Data
- PingArmor collects only the data necessary for the Service to work: username, email, password hash (bcrypt) and HWID.
- Passwords are stored as an irreversible hash. PingArmor has no access to the plaintext password.
- Data is not shared with third parties, except when required by legal or judicial order.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. PingArmor does not store credit card data.
- The User may request the deletion of their account and personal data at any time by contacting support.
11. Third-Party Trademarks
RubinOT, Tibia and BattlEye are trademarks of their respective owners. PingArmor has no affiliation, endorsement or partnership with any of them. The use of these names is purely referential to indicate Service compatibility.
12. Changes to the Terms
PingArmor reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Termination
PingArmor may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with no refund obligation. The User may terminate their account at any time by contacting support.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code (Law 8.078/90) and the General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/18). Any disputes will be resolved in the court of the User's domicile.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected].
16. Local Network Data Collection
The PingArmor desktop application continuously reads the list of active network connections on your device (IP addresses, ports and process names) to identify game connections and route them through the tunnel.
This information is not transmitted to the PingArmor server or any third party. It is kept only in memory while the app is running.
Full technical details, including retention and legal basis, are in the Privacy Policy, section 7 of this Policy.
