Native protection for Medivia

Medivia protected against drops and disconnects

WireGuard tunnel + automatic failover between two internet connections. When your link hiccups, PingArmor switches in about 2 seconds, before the Medivia server disconnects you.

Why Medivia players choose PingArmor

Protection built for Medivia: a stable TCP socket, automatic client detection and zero manual setup.

Failover between two internets

If your main connection drops or wobbles, traffic switches to the second one before the server disconnects you. Fights connection errors 10054, 10060 and 10061.

Protection against disconnects

A disconnect happens when the game socket dies during a connection hiccup. The tunnel keeps the socket alive while the internet switches, to keep the connection up.

Protected route to the server

Medivia traffic goes through the protected tunnel to the relay in São Paulo and from there to the game server. The focus is stability: depending on where the server is, latency may go up a little.

Zero manual setup

No DNS, ipconfig or proxy tweaks. The app detects Medivia.exe automatically and protects the connection on its own.

How it works in Medivia

Medivia Online is an independent 2D MMORPG, online since 2011 and available for Windows, macOS and Linux. Medivia uses a direct TCP connection between the client and the game server. When your internet wobbles, that socket dies and you get disconnected. PingArmor keeps game traffic inside the protected tunnel all the way to the server.

When the internet switches, failover happens in ~2 seconds — before the server's TCP timeout. The tunnel keeps the same socket through the WAN switch, so you can keep playing without logging in again.

Medivia is treated like the other supported games

Medivia gets the same protection as every game PingArmor supports — automatic failover, a stable socket and protection against drops.

Medivia questions

Does PingArmor lower my ping in Medivia?

That's not the goal. PingArmor is about stability, not lower ping. The relay is in São Paulo and traffic goes from there to the game server, so latency may stay the same or go up a little, depending on the distance. What you actually get is protection against drops and disconnects.

Does it fix the drops and disconnects?

Yes, when the drop comes from one of your internets wobbling — failover switches connections before the server kicks you. It can't help if both internets go down at the same time, because there's nowhere to switch to.

Do I need to configure anything in Medivia?

No. No DNS, proxy or game settings to change. Open PingArmor, connect your two internets and open Medivia as usual — detection is automatic.
